Crafting the identity of an Active Functional Luxury brand
Lowys Studios blends high-performance cycling with accessible luxury. The result is a brand rooted in Italian production, anonymous design collaboration, and a philosophy of Active Functional Luxury.

Mission & Vision
Lowys Studios began as a shared ambition to define a new standard in functional luxury — a fashion label where sport, culture, and design intersect. The project unfolded over more than a year, developing a brand that speaks not to trend cycles, but to long-term aesthetic and material values. With cycling as its foundation, the label aims to reframe performancewear through a design-led, culturally literate lens.
Our role encompassed brand strategy, identity design, custom typography, and narrative development. The concept was built around three pillars: Italian production, an intentionally anonymous creative network, and a balance between utility and expression. The identity needed to reflect all three — visually disciplined, culturally aware, and built for scale.
The challenges
Lowys Studios now stands as a complete brand system — conceptually mature and production-ready. With product development underway, manufacturing partnerships secured, and creative assets in place, the brand is positioned to enter the market with control, clarity, and conviction. It introduces a new category on its own terms: Active Functional Luxury.
The Solutions
The system is defined by minimal composition, material tactility, and editorial restraint. It adapts fluidly across product, campaign, and communication layers. To introduce the brand, we developed a cinematic film in collaboration with director Thijs Vleut and production house Liberate69 — offering a visual narrative that frames the Lowys philosophy with clarity and depth.
